How long does it take to be painted?
Katie’s specialism in painting bodies enable paintings to emerge from cup of tea and chat with a blank canvas to completed painting anywhere between one and five hours depending on size and process.
Can I have the experience without buying the painting?
Yes. Many people wish to keep the experience but not the painting in their homes. These are held as part of the intimate oil collections with identity confidential.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the experience is £300 in Devon and £350 in London and includes consultation and reflection time afterwards.
Oil on canvas paintings range from £500 – £1500 with the price of the experience deducted on purchase.
The cost of the experience is free at ‘Outsider’ public charity events with consessionary prices making this unique gift possible for those on low income or benefits. This is part of Katie’s ongoing work with the Outsiders organization supporting people living with disabilities to celebrate their sexuality in all its uniqueness and diversity as their birth right.
Where is your studio?
Katie has two studios in Devon and works at Sacred Pleasures, London. All are wheel chair accessible.
When are you doing public performance painting next where I can see you at work?
Next Outsider Charity event is Glastonbury Festival 2013.

Do you do home visits?
Yes. Whether its because traveling is difficult or you feel more comfortable in your own home this is possible. Travel expenses apply.
Consultation. The beginning of your painting experience.
This is your opportunity to meet with me and have a cup of tea and relax in the space to talk through the process involved. It is a chance for us to explore what your dreams are about your painting. To talk through feelings you might have about your body and your reasons for entering into this process of being witnessed in paint on canvas. After this, You then are invited to enter into the painting space which is warm with cushions and candles lit with your favorite music playing. I have dressing gowns for you to put on as you relax into the space and here is where you settle and we explore positions and lighting.
